Dr. Roshan Raman is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NorthCap University since July 2017. He completed his Ph.D. in alternative fuels and IC engines from Delhi Technological University (previously DCE). He has more than 9 years of teaching and research experience. He is a Member of the SAE and ASME professional society. His areas of interest are thermal engineering, IC engines, alternative fuels, HMT, RAC and renewable energy. He has supervised 1 M. Tech and 15 B.Tech. theses in various domains of mechanical engineering. He is Editor in various journals such as Heat Engines (specialty section of Frontiers in Thermal Engineering), Frontiers in Energy Research (SCIE), Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part E: Journal of Process Mechanical Engineering (SCIE), International Journal of Transportation Engineering and Technology (IJTET), and International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering Research and Development (IJMPERD).
Professor Dr. Hakan Ēalkan is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Usak University in Turkey. He received his BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees from the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Thermodynamics) at Pamukkale, Eskisehir Osmangazi, and Ege Universities in Turkey, respectively. He worked as a Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering of Kyung Hee University in Republic of Korea, as a Professor in the Teikyo University in Japan, and as a Researcher in University of Ontario Institute of Technology (Ontario Tech University) in Canada. He is an Assistant Editor/Guest Editor/Editorial Board member of 16 international journals. He is an editorial board member in 11 international journals and an active reviewer in more than 30. He established Usak University Energy, Environment and Sustainability (ENĒES) Application and Research Center and also contributed to postgraduate education activities by establishing the Department of Energy and Environmental Sciences.
Dr. Zafar Said is currently working as a Distinguished Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University, UAE. He received his doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and completed his postdoctoral research at Khalifa University, UAE. Dr. Said is a recognized leader in energy technology, nanofluids, and sustainable energy. His major areas of interest include heat transfer, solar energy systems, and advanced thermofluids. His research focuses on battery thermal management, enhancement of solar collectors using nanofluids and turbulators, and the development of stable nanorefrigerants and nanolubricants. He also applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict thermophysical properties and optimize energy systems. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Khalifa Award for Education as Distinguished University Professor (2025), the Future Pioneer Award in Sustainability (2025), and Best Academic Research at the 13th Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (2024). He has also received the Research and Innovation Award from the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (2022) and First Place in Scientific Research at the Excellence and Creative Engineering Award (2023) by the Society of Engineers, UAE. In recognition of his contributions, he has been consistently ranked among the worlds top 2% of scientists in the field of energy by Elsevier BV and Stanford University. In addition to his academic duties, he actively serves in editorial roles for several international journals and is a frequent keynote speaker at global conferences.
