He covers the buildings of the major medieval dynasties – the Seljuqs, Ilkhanids and Timurids – as well as the formerly neglected monuments of the Chaghatai, Muzaffarid, Kartid and Jalayirid dynasties and Uzbek monuments in Afghanistan.
