This book is an up-to-date and comprehensive board review and clinical quick reference text for students interested in dermatology. It provides both high yield exam review pearls for the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Exam) Step 1 and Step 2 CK (Clinical Knowledge) exams and high yield clinical pearls regarding the diagnosis and management of common dermatological conditions that every student should master.

It relays to the reader a contemporary view of dermatological practice and presents it in an easy to digest and rapid review format that is crafted for new learners in dermatology and students completing 4th year visiting rotations. This book will also introduce students to a career in dermatology while simultaneously providing a section on common misnomers in dermatology, eponyms in dermatology and “buzzwords” that are used in everyday dermatological practice that can be confusing for students beginning to care for patients with skin disease.

The Ultimate Medical Student Guide to Dermatology is an essential resource for medical students, nurse practitioner students and physician assistant students who are interested in a career in dermatology, preparing for board exams or completing home and away dermatology rotations.
