In his interpretation of (predominantly) Prague Structuralist aesthetics, the Czech literary scholar Milan Jankovic arrived at a model of the work of art as a sense activity. His studies, as they appear here for the first time in a broader context in German, represent an understanding of structuralism largely absent in Western theoretical debates.
