David Isbister is a Partner at Belvederes Solicitors LLP, Gloucester Road in London. He started as a junior at this firm in 1991 and qualified as a Fellow of CILEx in 2001 and continuing to qualify as a CILEX Probate Practitioner in 2021 and Conveyancing Practitioner in 2023. David also went on to qualify as a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP). In 2012, David qualified as a Mediator and specialises in resolving Trust disputes, claims against Estates, and challenges to the validity of Wills and TOLATA Disputes. David was appointed as CILEX legal adviser on Wills and Inheritance and has Represented CILEX at meetings with the Ministry of Justice and HMCTS. He also sits on the Civil Justice Committee Liaison Council on ADR as the CILEX representative. David spends his spare time with his children, Arran and Reece, and when time allows clay pigeon shooting (consistently missing more than he hits), and judging dog agility.
