The Wisdom of the Imagination is an overview of Lucie Lambert's work, illustrated with photography of her livres d'artiste and her art, and including two essays. First and foremost a printmaker who has employed a wide range of techniques — woodcut, wood engraving, engraving, etching, and silkscreen — Lucie Lambert has produced and published over ten livres d'artiste over the past ten years and is the recipient of several arts grants and awards. Over the years, she learned and integrated other modes of expression, such as jewelry and calligraphy, and also collaborated with typographers and a bookbinder.
