Financial arrangements between central and local goverment for the provision of teacher in-service education and training has caused local authorities to be responsible for funding their own in-service provision for local needs. This series of workshop materials aims to support workshop leaders at school and at teachers' centre level, while being flexible enough to allow for local variations. This book on health and sex education consists of instruction and guidance to workshop leaders, workshop tasks and activities, and some background reading. The workshops, in the cases of each pack, are organized in terms of 90 minute, whole day and multiple day time units.
